Al came out next-day when a rodent problem cropped up at our home, and quickly inspired confidence. He’s been doing this for decades, initially working for large companies, and now customizes his services for each situation based on his deep knowledge of pest control in the Squamish area. We also like that he rarely uses pesticides (even though he’s licensed to). And last but not least- he’s a super nice guy 🙂
Al was quick to respond to my call, he took the time to ask lots of questions and looked at my house on the same day I called.

Act promptly if you see any, call us for a free inspection to identify the species and estimate the size of the infestation that will ultimately grow with the coming spring season.
Rodents don’t distinguish between old and brand-new homes. They’re opportunistic, driven by survival and reproduction instincts.
There will always be reasons why they decide to take advantage of what you might unknowingly offer.
Much of what we do as a pest control company and your neighbor is to educate you about these reasons and how to remedy them.
Organic Pest Control
Beneficial Insects can also contribute to a better pest control program:

Although chemicals are effective and fast for controlling pests, there are other means to an end! Have you ever heard about farmers introducing certain pollinating insect species to a crop or garden in order to turbo-charge the pollination season?
Mason bees are an example of beneficial insects that are known to be especially effective pollinators. They are excellent at collecting and transferring pollen from flower to flower, including apple blossoms, cherry blossoms, blueberries, and raspberries, among others. Best of all, Mason bees do not sting!
We take a meticulous and thorough approach to each service, ensuring that our solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers. Organic pest control is one of them, which has been utilized for hundreds of years. There are many beneficial insects that can be used as organic pest control methods in British Columbia.

Ladybugs: Ladybugs are voracious predators of aphids, mites, and other soft-bodied insects that can damage plants. They are considered beneficial insects and can be released in the garden to control pests.

Lacewings: Lacewings are another beneficial insect that feeds on aphids, mealybugs, and other soft-bodied insects. They can be attracted to the garden by planting flowers such as dill, fennel, and yarrow.

Praying mantis: Praying mantis is a predatory insect that feeds on a wide variety of insects including caterpillars, crickets, and even other praying mantis. They can be introduced to the garden as beneficial insects to control pests.

Hoverflies: Hoverflies are often mistaken for bees or wasps, but they are actually harmless flies that feed on nectar and pollen. Their larvae feed on aphids, mealybugs, and other soft-bodied insects. They can be attracted to the garden by planting flowers such as marigolds or zinnias.

Ground beetles: Ground beetles are beneficial insects that feed on slugs, snails, and other insects that can damage plants. They can be attracted to the garden by providing a habitat for them, such as a log pile or a rock pile.
These were just a few examples of beneficial insects that can be used as an organic pest control method. It’s important to remember that introducing beneficial insects to the garden is just one aspect of an Integrated Pest Management program, which should also include cultural practices, such as crop rotation, and physical barriers, such as row covers, to prevent pests from infesting your garden.
