Squamish Filming Location Pest Control aims to provide services to filmmakers shooting in the Squamish-Lillooet District. We offer precautionary inspections, treatments and emergency response.
Rest assured, we have experience working on a filming set and familiar with filming workflows. Better yet, we can easily empathize with how cast, background and crews might feel when shooting a scene near an in-ground wasp nest also.
Important Note About the Use of Pesticide on Filming Location
To use pesticides or perform wildlife control, your filming location should ideally be situated on privately owned land. Prior written authorization and complete landowner information are required before any work can commence.
The use of pesticides or wildlife control on public land is also possible under specific conditions. However, the authorization process through the BC Ministry of Environment and Climate Change can be time-consuming and often incurs costs that are closer to ‘Above the Line,’ making it impractical to consider. In such cases, we frequently recommend personal use of insect repellents and other pheromone-based devices for insect situations and advise dealing with wildlife control through the appropriate provincial departments

We offer filmmakers the same prompt emergency service that we provide to our local builders and contractors who sometimes require immediate assistance with issues such as wasp nests, ant infestations, or any other pest-related problems.
It is essential for us to assure our clients that they can rely on us with production pest control emergencies.
